I review long documents with the agent and keep the file preview open on the side while we discuss edits in the chat. Two things break it:

Every time I send a message, the preview panel closes and the chat expands to full width. I have to reopen the file after every single message, dozens of times in a review session. For iterative document work, the side-by-side view is the whole point.

The divider between the chat and the preview is fixed. There’s no way to choose how much width each side gets.
My suggestions:

Keep the preview panel open when a message is sent, or add a pin/lock toggle so it stays until I close it myself. Bonus if it keeps my scroll position on refresh.

Make the divider draggable, so I can size the panels to fit the task: narrow chat while reading, wider chat while writing.
Does anyone else doing document review or editing runs into this constantly? Curious if others would use it too.
