Hello everyone!
I’m having trouble paying for my Kimi subscription, and I’m hoping a moderator can help me escalate this issue to the appropriate department.
Here’s the situation:
On June 22, 2026, I signed up for a 7-day free trial.
I canceled the subscription before the trial ended on June 29, 2026.
Despite the cancellation, the system attempted to charge my card for $19.00 three times. All attempts were unsuccessful because the card does not have permanent funds to prevent unnecessary charges.
I’ve already sent an email with supporting screenshots to [email protected], but I haven’t received a response yet. Can one of the moderators forward this request to the billing department?
My registered email address is [email protected]
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out and providing the details regarding your Kimi subscription. According to the feedback, here is the resolution regarding your case:
Current Status
- Our customer service team manually canceled your subscription on July 3, 2026.
- You will not incur any further charges, and no further payment attempts will be made.
Timeline & Explanation
- June 29 at 5:36 AM: Your 7-day trial officially expired. At this exact time, the system automatically generated a new pending renewal bill for the upcoming cycle.
- June 29 at 6:07 AM: You initiated the cancellation. Because the new billing cycle had already begun and the new bill was generated half an hour prior, the system applied your cancellation to the subsequent billing cycle, rather than the pending bill.
Regarding the Grace Period You were still able to access the service and initiate a cancellation after your exact expiration time due to our system’s built-in “grace period.” This feature allows a window of a few hours after a subscription technically expires before cutting off access. This is designed to prevent abrupt service interruptions for users whose renewal payments might take a moment to process.
Your subscription is now fully canceled, and you can disregard the previous payment attempts. We appreciate your patience while we sorted this out!
